rockstar, such a familiar phrase to kids who start or join bands during their adolescent years. i know that was the case for me.
well, when brotherhill broke up, i was fine with all that and it was time. i am just to the point where i want to play shows, and when i go to shows i see people playing music and loving it, and that's what i want to do, i don't have to be a huge rockstar or anything, i just want to play good music for people and tour, plus i think music is a huge ministry to a lot of people. for example, Thrice has been one to me.
i love music, and i love travelling so i just want it to work out this time around.
i have decided to join a band with a couple of friends to see if things work. i just love rock music.
Life, Love, Truth, Joy, God. I write about these things and many more. Trying to unlock the secrets to this thing we call life.

He's a G
Forest Whitaker just humbly accepted his oscar for Best Male Actor at the Oscars this year and at the end talked about how blessed he was from God, and how God believes in everyone of us that we can achieve what we want. He's a G.

English Class
Okay, so I am in this English class called Western World Masterpieces. Basically we just read bunch of old literature and talk about it. Stuff like The Iliad, Beowulf, and the like. My professor is a young "Jew", or so he says and he likes to talk about every work we read in a religious and secular view. He focuses on Christianity almost all of the time, and at the begining of the semester he openly came out and basically told us he was biased toward Christianity. He talks as if he is a scholar of the Bible and knows every fact as God himself knows it.
Which brings me to my next point, I think sometime when we read something and analyze it, we over analyze it. We go into so much depth and twist so much that the author origanal meaning becomes useless and it becomes whatever we want it to be. Sometimes I think it is better to read a work first just as entertainment and pleasure and see what you get out of it by just enjoying it and then if you want to go back and see if you can pin-point the author ideas but don't ruin the work by over-analyzing every single part of it to where you author orignal purppose is nowhere to be found.
All I am saying is enjoy what you read and don't take credit away from the author by making the book yours about what you think. It is about what the author thinks. I feel better now that i have said that. I actually just had to write a reading journal about Beowulf and put alot of that in it to my prof so he I guess could see what I think and why.
Thanks for reading and it is an inconvient truth but thank you for smoking in the labyrinth with david bowe and little miss sunshine.

And I Can't Type
Wow, I should definately proof read before posting things, look at that last masterpiece. I are a high school graduater.
Aw, I'm now officially a dork.
I am sitting in my Social Problems clas and we have a guest speaker here today who is from the Clark County Recycling place. I just realized that the other day I was watching my usual Discovery Channel and say on How It's Made about recycling. I am a dork.

Apparition
Shards of glass flying all around,
The deafening sound
Beauty I view as darkness befalls me.
My body chills, and stills.
How did I make it out alive?
Is she alright? 1 month to go,
She has to make it.
My first, our first can’t go this way.
Flashing lights and sounds
Jaws of life at work
Out she comes without scratch
Oh thank you God
Tears streaming down her face as I race to her side
No response to me, only the police
As she cries I see her eyes,
Alone, afraid, without me.
Body bag on the scene,
But for whom could it be?
Everyone is fine, made it out alive.
Oh God no, please don’t let this be.
This bag is not meant for me.
A wife, a kid, they need me.
Through the tears I see
What can no longer be called me.
God I make this my prayer
Let me live, let me see,
Let me honor thee.
I give you my life,
Dedicated to you,
Please let me love my wife and see my baby girl.
She looks as if she’s seen a ghost
When I step from that bodybag
She wonders how a ghost can touch and feel
The deafening sound
Beauty I view as darkness befalls me.
My body chills, and stills.
How did I make it out alive?

Deliverance
Middle of the war, two of us all alone
Neither commander nor troops aware
The one I serve says to me, “Let us go to these men, perhaps the Lord will work for us, nothing hinders the Lord from saving by many or by few.”
“Do all that is in your heart, I am with you heart and soul”
Is my reply.
Waiting for a sign from our Lord at the foot of the foe.
“Come up to us and we will show you a thing!” is their cry.
The Lord has delivered them into our hands.
Fatal blows one by one
First by Jonathan, then I
Into the hands of Israel they have fallen.
The king’s men come in after.
Victorious we emerge, thanks be to the God of Israel!
Fight for the heart of your king!
Not Saul nor David but the one who reigns in heaven.
The one who wins battles
Against the odds, he reigns.
Victorious He is, victorious He will ever be.
Neither commander nor troops aware
