Christmas Eve

short little entry today.

one thing that was really cool today was when i was sitting in church i heard the guy behind me explaining to his kids what communion was. he said , "this is the body and this is the blood that Christ shed to save us." it was awesome.

also when me and mom were having a talk on the way home about how show hated here past i looked up at the satellite radio to see the song that was playing was relient k's "Who I Am Hates Who I've Been." it was pretty sweet.

Je......

Jesus. It is such a hard word for most people to say. Especially in public. Most people will re-word their sentences to downplay the words Jesus or God. I myself am guilty. But Jesus is a name that when the very thought of Him comes to mind you should want to say it, shout it! Jesus! Jesus! JESUS! All the glory and splendor that was rightfully his was abandoned because he wasn't afraid to cry out my name, Benjamin, Benjamin, BENJAMIN! He cried out your name. He cried out for all of us out of love. He could not fathom a single day with out you and left the most perfect thing in the universe. He went through total separation with God, he went through Hell. All to seek us and save us so that we may be with him. Have you ever thought about Mark 14:50 where it says, "And they all left him and fled." This is talking about his disciples right after he was arrested, yet he still cried out, " PETER! BARNABAS!" He even cried out "BARABBAS! JUDAS!" He doesn't care what you've done, whether you have fled from him or you have never even met him, he is right there calling out your name. Don't be afraid to answer.

Collapse

Verse 1:
on the beach, body collapses, eating itself from the inside out
bones are there, air is there, but no strength to move them
face fades into one of millions

in the alley, falling asleep, to an eternal dream,
no family, no friends, just a broken hope
face fades into one of millions

Pre-Chorus:
what is this cry, what is this pain, what is this hurt
a story lost in time

Chorus:
open your eyes, see the lies, see the truth
what does He require of you?
act justly, love mercy, walk humbly

Verse 2:
cold air, no clothes, burdens left alone
short time, quickly it passes, age five dies
face fades into one of millions

endless thoughts, wondering were the truth ever was
no evidence, must have been a lie
where is this love?

Pre-Chorus:
What is this cry, what is this pain, what is this hurt
a story lost in time

Chorus:
open your eyes, see the lies, see the truth
what does He require of you?
act justly, love mercy, walk humbly
take this unseen love, this eternal light,
this bread for the world,
move into action, feed the world

Bridge:
a humbled servant, love, the truth, the word, the bread,
died
spread it around, lift it up, share the blood
conquering death, connecting us

rise to your feet, feast on the bread, your soul,
your fill, never again shall you feel your hunger

Well crap.

Do you ever fall in love with someone the moment you see them? Well ok, I didn't fall in love instantly and never did with this person. I just got to know them over these past 3 months or so, seeing them once a week and grew to like them. Now that I am transefering branches at work I most likely will never se her again. Sad isn't it? Today was my last day at Williamsburg Station and I was sad thinking I would miss everyone but also that I didn't get to see HER before I left. About quarter till twelve she walked in. I worked as fast as I could with the person I was with so that I could wait on her. I got to wait on her and talk to her one last time. Oh well, if anyone has any info on this mystery girl for me, let me know. hehe.
